how i met "e"

I met E at Meet Fresh on Lorne street. I was coming to meet you (M) before one of our first classes at uni and you said you were with some friends and I should come meet them. I was initially a little nervous, but I was willing to meet anyone because I didn't have any other Uni friends other than you. I had left a pretty meh highschool experience and had next to no friends coming into Uni so meeting you on day one was really special, and so I trusted you to have good friends too. So I took the chance and came to meet fresh and hung out with you guys... And thats how I met E. I remember her being quite shy at first and I was shocked by her coloured contacts, but we ended up getting along pretty easily from then on. I do remember her being mock offended because I said I didn't like jelly. I guess you did affect our friendship in a way, because you were the one who introduced us I think of E as not only my friend, but more specifically as "M's friend" since you guys have a shared history. E and I are pretty solid as friends on our own standing and we can hang without needing the big group, but because our group is so tight we rarely need to. So technically you still play a part in our relationship but only because we all share friends now.

My life has been impacted, everyone I have met through uni, has changed my life, and I've already spoken about how I didn't really have friends after highschool so E being one of my first friends after that has been pretty special. E has taught me the value of being yourself, doing things that you want to do and not living for others. E has been a constant person in my life for the past three years.

Sine meeting, we talk pretty frequently. I last messaged her about 20 minutes ago. Our relationship hasn't really changed since we met, other than just growing as friends and growing up.
